Ana Margarida Dias da Silva
Ana Margarida Dias da Silva has a degree in History, variant of History of Art from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra, has a Specialisation Course in Documentary Science - branch Archive from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra, a Master in Information and Documentation Sciences, specialisation area in Archiving from the FCSH-UNL, a Master in Contemporary History from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra and a PhD in Information Science from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra. Archivist since 2004, she is a senior technician in the archives of the Department of Life Sciences of the FCTUC.
She is an integrated member of the UC Centre for the History of Society and Culture and a collaborator of the CIC-Digital Porto / CITCEM and the UC Centre for Functional Ecology. Her research interests focus on Archival Science, Information Science, Information Systems, Memory Institutions, Web 2.0, Citizen Science, Science Communication, Palaeography and History of Written Culture.
